I am a seasoned, IAC-certified mentor coach with more than
20 years of experience working internationally with individuals
and corporations. What does it mean when a coach is IAC-certified?
A leader in the field has recently said, "Out of the
thousands of coaches who've signed up to get certified...in
the past 5 years, only a handful have succeeded. IAC certification
means the coach is genuinely great." I am proud to be
one of those hand-picked, high-performing coaches.
I
work with both individual and corporate clients. The underlying
principle of my work is that visibility begins with self-knowledge
and culminates in the realization of cherished goals.
As creator and founder of "The Visibility Project,"
I specialize in helping baby boomer women discover new direction,
particularly when they find themselves at a crossroads or
even an apparent impasse. My clients include artists and creatives,
solo entrepreneurs, and high-level executives, as well as
women just embarking on their work life. As a coach and founder
of the Women Inventing Themselves (WIT)
network, I address all women who want to find and fulfill
their life purpose.
I have recently been named Senior Associate of Barbara Annis
Inc., a corporate coaching firm specializing in gender diversity
and coaching executive women. It is especially gratifying
to help women address their visibility issues in the often
uneven playing field that is the corporate environment. Women
find their professional paths easier to navigate when they
are clear about how they want to be seen and what it is they
want to accomplish.
I began my own multifaceted career as a dancer and later
I became a freelance journalist for the International Herald
Tribune, the New York Times and Vogue, among
others. I have written about culture, lifestyle, education,
feminist spirituality and parenting. I co-authored a book
called In Performance and published a quarterly magazine,
Kids Extra!, a guide for the international family living
abroad. I have an MA degree in Education from Columbia University,
and directed my own consulting firm for over a decade.
One of my most gratifying talents is helping women find the
creative alchemy between their personal and professional lives.
Time
magazine quoted me on that subject not long ago. Risk-taking,
a sense of style, la joie de vivre, conscious parenting,
a committed marriage and a long-time yoga and meditation practice
all contribute meaningfully to my life and my work.
I invite you share in my insight and energy. It can move
your life forward in specific and surprising ways. Check out
my workshop schedule or call
for a one-on-one session. Warning - the excitement
of renewed visibility has been known to be life-changing and
contagious!
